NYX Glam Shadow in Aurora

Glam is always good!

At least I think so, anyway!

If you are looking for a glam, yet natural single shadow, check this out!

Aurora is a pretty dark brown with gold and red super fine glitter. It is absolutely stunning in the pan and works pretty well on the eyes! For under $4, what is not to love?

It is not as sparkly as in the pan, but it is just enough for some subtle drama. I also love that NYX is cruelty free, affordable, and stays up with trends.

If you are looking to expand your single shadow collection (or to depot this and add to a Z palette), check this out! It is unique, but not in your face. Although it lacks a bit of wow factor, it is usable and good quality.

Price: 9/10
Performance: 8/10
Color/Wearability: 8/10
Packaging: 9/10
Overall Quality: 8/10

Total: 42/50 = B = Pleased Panda

Have you tried NYX's glam shadow? Are you a fan of the brand?

Clinique Summer Lips!

Hey Pandas!

I have two clinique products to satisfy a need for a put together summer lip!

Behold Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Mystic and Long Last lipstick in Bamboo Pink.

Mystic is a bluish purple with shimmer and retails for $15. Bamboo Pink is a brownish/nude/pink and also retails for $15. They go great together and when worn as a pair give me 7 hours of glossy goodness.

Mystic is on the left. You can see the pretty blue shimmer! Bamboo Pink gives moderate coverage for a fresh look and is just the right mix of pink and nude.

Aren't they pretty together? My camera ran out of memory before I could snap the lip shots, but I still think their beauty shows here.

Final Thoughts: Clinique is always reliable, and these are fun colors from their permanent line. The SPF is nice too!

Price: 8/10
Staying Power: 10/10
Packaging: 7/10
Color/Wearability: 10/10
Quality/Branding: 10/10

Total: 45/50 = A = Happy Panda!

What are your feeling on Clinique? They've gone a bit under the radar lately, which is sad.

Savannah Bee Co. Lip Tint

I love buying fun products when I travel. A review on this one has taken me a while because I visited Georgia about 2 months ago, but better late than never!

The Savannah Bee Company was a cute little store that I found. They sell the most delicious honey, skin products, and lip products. All are natural and organic.

This particular one is called 'Tupelo Honey Shimmer', Tupelo being the smell/type of honey infused in this dark tinted balm. It is sweet and earthy at the same time. The smell is honestly the best part of these products.

On skin it swatches a rich, coppery brown with a hint of red. The brown is a little less noticeable on lips.

These taste great, and feel lovely on lips. So comfortable to wear and the shimmer and tint are just extras!

Interested in checking out what they have to offer? Click here. Their website is gorgeous! Or if you are in Savannah, Georgia -- stop by!

Final Thoughts: You may not have one of these stores around the corner, but they are worth the look!

Price: 9/10
Staying Power: 8/10
Packaging: 9/10

It is Officially Summer and 'I'm Getting Sunburned'

Hey!

It is a few days into June already (wow!) and that means, warmer days ahead and no more school (for many of us). I love the themed eye shadow sets that Wet n Wild come up with, and I thought that reviewing "I'm Getting Sunburned" was perfect for the season.

This eye shadow set comes with three shadows and two little tiny brushes. They are labeled with where you are supposed to use them on your eye to create a unique look.

Make sure to click on the pictures to see them closer! This set is $2.99 and is available at Ulta and CVS.

The colors are very summery, bright, and rich. I think they work better separately, and this might be a it overdone if worn all together, but give it a try! ( I think I might do a look with this soon).

The browbone color is a very frosty light pink. It is a dupe for a lot of colors, but still fun. This looks pretty on the tearduct. Super smooth and creamy formula.

The crease color is my favorite of the three. It is a dark brown with gold and red glitter. How fun is that? It is very pigmented, a little soft though, so beware of fall-out. A sticky primer is all you need.

The eyelid color is a true yellow gold. Although it looks richer in the pan, this color is still great for that fresh, gilded-eye look that is so popular right now. Love it!

All the shadows lasted around 7 hours before creasing with a good primer. I think they are worth it though, at this price point. W&W makes some of the most pigmented and creamy shadows at that price level. You can't beat it.

Final Thoughts:

Price: 10/10
Staying Power: 8/10
Packaging: 7/10
Color/Wearability: 9/10
Quality/Branding: 10/10
Total: 44/50 = B+ = Pretty Panda

So what do you guys think of W&W shadows in general? I think they are pretty awesome. Do you like these colors? Have any you suggest? Let me know!
