NOTD: Minnie Mouse!

Hey Pandas!

I am a big Disney person, and the other day my mom and I were taking one of her friends to Disneyland to get her pass. Yay! Of course, I had to do my nails for the occasion!

Now, this is one of my first attempts at full-on nail art, so be gentle! Haha. Of course, this look was inspired by Minnie Mouse and her classic black, red, and white colors.

On my middle finger I painted a half circle and used a dotting tool for the ears. I then painted a red bow on top. The rest of my nails are either white, black, or red with contrasting dots. My thumb has a red bow on it. Simple but cute!

Needless to say we had a lot of fun that day, even though the park was crowded. I didn't see Minnie, but I did see her hubby!

These are the colors I used for this mani: O.P.I Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, ORLY Liquid Vinyl, and Sinful Colors Snow Me White. I also used a dotting tool and freehanded the rest.

Love or Hate? Do you love Disneyland as much as I do? Have you ever done Disney inspired nail art?

White Bright

Eye shadow primers come in all sorts of textures and colors. I have never tried a plain white one before, but have always heard great things about NYX eye shadow base in White.

This little pot is supposed to make shadows true to color and brighter. For $6, there is a lot of primer in this.

It looks a little intimidating on first inspection. No worries though, it is creamy to the touch and applies smoothly.

Here it is applied directly to my bare skin and rubbed in. It still keeps a strong white color, which is key to it's performance.

To test, I took the troublesome pink from Maybelline's Paradise Punch duo I reviewed a little while back and put it over the primer. Wow!

On the left is the pink shadow on bare skin. On the right is the same shadow over the white base. You can see it has so much more pop, shine, and opacity. This really does work!

Final Thoughts: Do you wear bright colored shadows on the daily? This would be a great investment.

Price: 9/10
Staying Power: 10/10
Packaging: 8/10
Color/Wearability: 10/10
Quality/Branding: 10/10

Total: 47/50 = A = Pandamonium!

Have you tried this base? Love it? Tell me in the comments!
