London Calling: I need your help!

Okay Pandas. You have a mission. Think of yourselves as the James Bonds of makeup.

I will be headed to London soon for a few months and I am getting ready to haul some makeup for the trip across the pond, but I need your advice and help.

If you have been to England in the Fall/Winter, what are your must haves? And while I am there, what should I pick up?

Also, if you have touristy/food suggestions, I would love to here them as well.

Here's some more info:

  • I will be there for 3 months
  • My skin gets dry in the winter
  • I will be doing a lot of commuting to school and some travel
  • I do not need to pare down what I bring

Basically, I need tips on your fave waterproof products, if you even think I need them in the London rain, long-lasting items, and you can even talk skin and hair care.

I NEED YOU ALL SO I CAN HAUL EFFECTIVELY!

So tell me, what would you bring for three months in London?

Thanks guys. I really love and appreciate you all!

  4. I hope you have an amazing time in London <3
There are a billion of places to go - there is the Buckingham Palace, The London Eye Trafalgar Square and many more places to enjoy! I would suggest you have a look online and pick the places you like and make a list of them :)
I would also say that the weather is always changing here. For example, yesterday it was rainy and today it is very sunny. So just bring some summer clothes as well as a couple winter (like coats). If you need anything additional then you can buy it from here :)!
If you want to go shopping then make sure you check out places like New Look, Matalan, TopShop, Primark, Boots, Superdrug, River Island and there's loads more!
I hope I have answered some of your questions and given you suggestions :) If you need anymore suggestions or any help then just drop me a e-mail :)

  6. I hope you have a wonderful time Margo! I hope you post a lot of pictures lol! I've never traveled to London, but if it helps I usually use Cetaphil products to keep my skin healthy. Palmer's have good products too, especially the cocoa butter formula.

  7. Hey. I hope I am not too late in responding to your post. Here are some of my holy-grail products that I would like to recommend - Estee Lauder Day Wear Plus Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 25 (good for dry skin), Clarins UV Plus HP SPF 40 Day Screen (best absorbent sunscreen), L'Oreal Youth Code Day/Night Cream (good moisturizer), MAC Blush in Melba or Modern Mandarin (long-wearing blush), Fresh Sugar Lip Balm SPF 15 (or your favorite lip balm w/ SPF), Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara, MAC Fluid Line Gel-liner (long-wearing, smudge proof), Eyeshadow Palette w/ neutral shades (I don't use ES, so no specific recommendation), and L'Oreal Glossy Balm in Lovely Mocha (neutral/seasonally appropriate) or for long-wear (try Estee Lauder Pure Envy Lipsticks in Intense Nude, Dior Rouge in Twill, Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons in Glace, YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Stains in #10, #11, or #12 (multi-purpose). Have a wonderful and safe stay in the U.K. and stay in touch with me via email. xxx

  9. Wow great news dear. Enjoy there. Use gentle products and aloevera gel 100% pure works for all skin types. It hydrates and is anti bacterial too. Take some sheet masks too for extra hydration and never skip sunscreen. Take a good night cream/sleeping mask for dry winter. Do a patch test before using any new products. Have fun :-)
