Mally Volumizing Mascara Review

Mally Volumizing mascara ($20) has rapidly become a cult favorite in the beauty world. I love Mally and was introduced to her when my mom ordered some of her products on QVC years ago. I love her vibrant energy and I like most of the products I've tried, but was definitely excited about her mascara.

This is a very buildable formula and I love that the black really is a deep and glossy black!

I love the brush on this mascara as well. I normally shy away from the crazy oversized brushes or the brushes with dips and curves and torture-device like ends. This is medium-sized and uniform and holds a lot of product.

Above is two coats on my lashes. This mascara doesn't clump easily, but the only thing I dislike is that it is wet enough that is sometimes gets onto the lash line during application. I always wear liner, so it is easily covered, but if you don't, take this into consideration. I have also had several tubes of this and there are some inconsistencies between tubes. Some are wetter, some build really well and others do not. That is my one concern with this mascara.

This mascara lasts all day on me and doesn't flake or irritate my eyes. It is a bit hard to remove, so use an oil-based eye makeup remover.

If you haven't tried this formula, I suggest picking it up at QVC or Ulta. QVC has a 30 day money back no questions asked return policy, so it is a great way to try her stuff!

Are you a fan of Mally products or her mascara?

Mally Beauty High Shine Liquid Lipstick

In honor of Mally Beauty coming to Ulta...I thought I would show you some of my favorite shades of her High Shine Liquid Lipstick.

I am just going to put this out there...I love Mally. I love that she uses made up words like Gorgois. I love her cuteness and personality...and I love her products. Because, come on, who doesn't want to be bulletproof all day, every day?

This is why I love her high shine liquid lipstick ($20 but you can often find them in sets), that are set up like the iconic Stila lip glazes, but are, in my opinion, much better.

Above are my four favorite shades: sweet berry (a dark cream berry oxblood), supernatural (the easiest sparkly nude shade), heartbreaker (a bright watermelon pink) and starburst ( a flesh toned shimmer glaze).

These really do stick around on the lips...like seriously last and last! Go Mally!

Sweet Berry is so pretty because it has a ton of glossiness, but a very pretty and not overdone oxblood color.

Supernatural kinda looks like a pretty peachy galaxy on my lips. The perfect everyday shade.

Heartbreaker is the bold, funky shade of the group, and is such a juicy hot pink shade.

Starburst is like Supernatural's baby sister, but is perfect for a neutral makeup day.

If you are going to invest in a Mally High Shine Liquid Lipstick, go for one of these shades. They are a teeny bit sticky, but last half the day at least--bulletproof, seriously, smell amazing, and feel great on the lips.

Are you a Mally-nista?

FOTD: Going-Out Eyes

This is just a quick post showing you a look I created for my friend's birthday party. We went to a local piano bar and dressed up. I wanted to have an eye look that was fun for an all-girl outing.

This was just make-up, before I did my hair and all that, so excuse that. I wanted to do a darker eye and keep my face pretty simple.

What I Used:

Face: Bare Minerals foundation in Fairly Light

Cheeks: Wet n Wild blush in Mellow Wine

Lips: Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched

Eyes: Katy Perry false lashes in 'Oh, Honey!'
Color Tattoo shadow in Audacious Asphalt
Blended with Rimmel London Glam'eyes HD in Black Cab
          Mally Mascara in Black
NYX noir eye liner in black

It was pretty easy to do, and I had a fab time that night. Any questions on the look, just ask!
