Too Faced Absolutely Flawless Flexible Coverage Concealer

I am always on the lookout for new concealer. How does Too Faced stand up to the competition?

Too Faced Flexible Coverage Concealer in Vanilla seemed promising. I love the Too Faced line and most if their stuff has worked for me before.

Vanilla ($20) is the lightest shade they offer and although it doesn't match the back of my hand, it does a good job of brightening my eye area. This is one TINY drop, so a little is way more than enough. You get a lot for your money here. No smell, creamy consistency, and easy to work with.

It looks very natural, but is still not my holy grail. Reason? After about five hours, it creases a bit. Not majorly, but a bit, and that kinda bugs me!

Overall, I am pleased, but not floored.

Have you tried this? Favorite concealer?

Fragrance Sunday: Pixie Dust

Welcome to another installment of 'Fragrance Friday'! But really, it is Sunday and I had such a crazy week, so here you go.

Happy Sunday everyone, today I bring you Sarawen's 'Pixie Dust' perfume from her Victorian Collection.

You can order these from her Etsy shop, or from sarawen.bigcartel.com. She has a sample size of this scent, as well as a larger size for $12.50. She is a Canadian shop, so expect your order to take around 10 days if you live in the U.S.

I decided that this picture fits the scent for me, not Disney's Peter Pan or Tinkerbell. It is far different.

Sarawen describes 'Pixie Dust' as: I would say oodles of vanilla butter-cream and cake, honey, and orange drops! Now think of happy things and away we go!

On my skin, this smells like orange instantly. It is so pretty and romantic. The vanilla is soft after a few minutes, and the cake is present. Soft, fluffy, mouthwatering. This is a food scent, so if you do not like those, this will not be your cup of tea.

On me, honey is the base, and this smells slightly floral after a while. It is a great girly scent. I love it!

What would Pixie Dust smell like to you? Are you a fan of Sarawen?

Fragrance Friday: Cake or Death

Today's "Fragrance Friday" bring you Sarawen's 'Cake or Death' perfume from her Gothic collection.

These small samples are about $3 and you can find them at her Etsy shop. Her perfumes are cruelty-free and vegan!

According to Sarawen, 'Cake or Death' is:  Decadent buttercream frosting and vanilla cake with a touch of spice over a darkened amber base.

To me, 'Cake or Death' smells like insence at first -- I think that is the amber. That is the predominant scent as it sets on my skin. It wafts vanilla shortly after.

This is not a girly scent. I think any one that likes something bolder and muskier would like this. The oils are really dense, feel good on the skin, and do not smell like cheap Bath and Body Works vanilla spray (nothing wrong with BBW, just sayin').

I do not get the buttercream note at all, but that is just my skin chemistry. It is mostly spice and amber. Yummy!

What do you think of Cake or Death? Tried it? What does it remind you of?
