Inglot Classic Lipstick Review: Shade 254

You may have seen on Insta that I teased some goodies from Inglot that Mama Panda picked up for me. One of them was this pretty Inglot Classic lipstick in the shade 254. There are so many shades of Inglot lipstick and she picked the perfect one for me!

The tubes are basic black, square, with the Inglot logo, and contain .16 oz of product. and retail for $15.

Inglot describes their classic lipstick line as having Vitamin E and Apricot Kernal Oil to moisturize lips. This lipstick definitely has a sheen/cream finish to it, is non-sticky, and lasted four hours. It fades nicely but since this shade does have some glitter in it, tiny particles do linger for a while. It doesn't look garish--just a hint of sparkle.

Inglot does not provide shade descriptions, but 254 is a shimmery bright rose pink. This appears even brighter on the lips, but still is sheer enough to let some of your natural lip color show through. My lips felt very comfortable during wear.

Overall, I really love the Inglot formula. I didn't have much to go on, seeing as this is my first experience with the brand, but if I do get to visit a store, I will defintely be trying more. I want to swatch some more! My only complaint is the numbers instead of names. I get so much joy from a good lipstick name, am I alone here?

Jason Wu For Lancome Pre-Fall 2014 L'Absolu Rouge in Hibiscus Pink

By now, the Jason Wu for Lancôme Pre-Fall 2104 collection should be hitting your local counters, and I finally had a chance to pick up the other item I was craving, the L'Absolu Rouge in Hibiscus Pink.

This color was calling my name, and even though this is a Pre-Fall collection, this Hibiscus Pink shade is totally what summer is all about!

$30 is a bit pricey for me in terms of lipstick right now, but I couldn't say no the packaging and the color. These are boxes I will definitely be keeping! I know it is literally just cardboard but I can't help it.

For those unfamiliar with the L'Absolu Rouge formula, it has moisture boosting Pro-Xylane as well as Vitamin E to keep the formula moist for 8 hours. I experienced about 6 and a half hours of good wear before it started to fade. Because of the color, it does fade in a flattering way, though.

This is very opaque in one go, and has a slight sheen to it that makes lips look, as well as feel, comfortable. It does have a strong floral scent, so please be aware if you are sensitive to smells. It fades after a half hour on the lips, but is very noticeable upon first application.

This is bright without being too neon or in your face, but still very relevant for this season. Jason Wu and Lancôme really nailed this collection, in my opinion, and I know this will be a staple lipstick for me well into the Fall! I can't wait to bring this one with me to London!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Anarchy: Swatches and Review

Yes, I love Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks so much, I had to go back for more...this time in the form of a hot pink stunner called Anarchy.

Anarchy ($22) was a shade originally on my to-get list, but it was sold out around me. When it came back in stock, I got my greedy hands on it and I have to say, it has lived up to all my hopes and dreams.

Besides, how can a lipstick named Anarchy not be cool?

In a sleek gunmetal casing, the Revolution lipsticks are just as pretty to look at in the tube as they are on the lips. With Anarchy, the formula is just like Native and F-Bomb (the other two I reviewed here). Creamy, ultra-pigmented, and comfortable to wear despite the denseness of the formula.

As far as the shade goes, you really can't get much louder than this bright, blue-toned fuchsia! However, it is surprisingly easy to wear and even easier to tone down if you want.

Here is Anarchy on my lips, applied straight from the tube, with flash. I find they really pump up the look of your lips, making them seem fuller and smoother.

And here it is again on my lips in natural light. Both of these lip swatches are straight from the tube, but I find that with these lipsticks, applying with a lip brush, setting with translucent powder, and then applying again makes for all day wear...nearly 7 hours on me with minor eating and a normal amount of water drinking.

Overall, Anarchy is a Panda Approved shade!

Have you joined the Revolution yet?

Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks in F-Bomb and Native: Swatches and Review

In my recent Urban Decay haul, my favorite score was the two new Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks ($22) in F-Bomb and Native.

These are incredible lipsticks, and they truly deserve all the hype they have been getting!

I chose to get two lipsticks from opposite spectrums. Native is a light, opaque baby pink and is more neutral and F-Bomb is a drop everything red. It is seriously jaw-dropping.

Here are the swatches under artificial light and they are stunning. The formula of these lipsticks is amazing: creamy, slightly thick, long-lasting, and moisturizing.

This is Native, with Native lip liner underneath. Pretty mod pink with slightly warm undertones.

F-Bomb may just become my new signature lipstick. This is crazy pigmented in one swipe and wears very well, fading very slowly after about 4 hours and doing so evenly.

All in all...you need at least one Revolution Lipstick in your life. Personally, I want all of them...but we will see...haha. Which one do you prefer? Native or F-Bomb? Have a favorite of your own? Do tell!
