Covergirl ink it! Liner in Cocoa Ink: Swatches and Review
Hi Pandas! I always love seeing the latest and greatest from drugstore brands. A little display of summery looking CoverGirl makeup caught my eye, but the only thing I deemed worthy enough of trying and perusal with this little $5 ink it! liner in Cocoa Ink.
I know that liners are a dime a dozen now, but this is a click up liner, with a little plastic stopper so the pencil doesn't smudge everywhere (it is actually kinda cool) and it in pencil form. But, it has the finish of a liquid liner and applies as creamy as one. Hybrid product!
The packaging itself is nothing to write home about, but I think the shouty little ink it! is cute!
This is very opaque in one pass and has a nice sheen that doesn't wear away upon application. I love the color, and I think I am really falling hard for brown liner in general.
As far as wear time, I wore this on my upper lash line on a 100 degree day in California, through a few hours of work and an entire night at my friends house watching Mama (you know that scary movie with Jessica Chastain?) and there was definite emotion and pizza-eating involved. So, it may not be waterproof, but it will last you through a good time and keep you looking flawless.

NYX Collection Chocolate: Liquid Brown Liner
A while ago, NYX came out with a collection Noir, which featured all types of black liners. They are at it again with everything in a rich chocolate hue. So of course, I had to check out the liquid offering!
NYX Collection Chocolate Liquid Brown liner. It retails for $7.99 and can be found at Ulta or any other stores that carry NYX. This truly is like liquid chocolate. I love it!
As you can see, it looks like I wrote PrettyPanda in chocolate! This is for anyone who wants a good liquid liner but wants something more natural than black. It is very shiny, dries quickly and has a really thin brush. You can get a crazy thin line or build it up for more drama. It comes off in chunks when time to remove, but wears all day.
I never thought I would be a fan of brown liner, but this is gorgeous! Ignore my totally naked lashes!
Brown looks good with brown eyes too!
The quality is here! For a good staple in your collection, check this out. If liquid is not your favorite liner medium, they have matte and regular pencils as well as khol.
Price: 9/10
Performance: 9/10
Color/Wearability: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Overall Quality: 9/10
Total: 47/50 = A = Pretty Panda!

Milani Eye Tech Extreme
Okay, so if you haven't already figured it out, I am kinda obsessed with black liner.
So when I heard about "Milani Eye Tech Extreme", guess who had to get her hands on it?
This color is "01 Blackest Black" because it has to be super black right? Right?
It claims to be waterproof, long-wearing, to not feather, and to be opaque. So how did it test for PrettyPanda?
This is a liquid felt tip liner. It is so thin and gives such a precise line-- as you can see above. It is really waterproof and lasted about 9 ish hours on my lids. That is a whole "being out and about and working" day for me. The above swatch is one stroke. The only claim it doesn't live up to is the feathering. It doesn't feather on my eye but it does on my hand. But you aren't really going to use this on your hands...
I really love the tip. It is precise but flexible. Not stuff and pokey. And for my followers that can't handle parabens, this baby is paraben free!
The packaging is pretty standard, thin and black with gold writing. Classy, and easy to handle. It feels like a pen in your hand.
This also sets really quickly and doesn't lose this pretty glossy finish. This retails for $7.
Final Thoughts: Strong contender for the ultimate black liquid liner. Milani, you did good with this one!
Staying Power: 10/10
Packaging: 9/10
Color/Wearability: 10/10
Quality/Branding: 10/10
Total: 48/50 = A = Pandamonium!!
I love this liner, and it has made it's way into my rotation. Do you like it too?

Purple Eye liner. For All Those Prince Concerts, or Whatever.
I am not sure why you need this, or I need this. But I have it, and I am showing it to you. Sometimes wearing purple as an eye liner can be fun! Green eyes look great with it!
I usually love NYX's studio liquid liners. For $4, this colorful liner is a fun addition to your stash. They even have crazy colors like baby blue. This one is called 'Extreme Purple'. It is basically just your average royal purple.
I love that the brush is short and very thin. You can get a precise line and it is less likely to fray.
The color is pretty if layered (the straight swatch) if applied in one coat it is a little watery (the smiley face) and that isn't good. It dries quickly, but to layer eye liner is an extra step some may not want to hassle with.
The upside to this liner is that it isn't chock-full of glitter. Just color, which is hard to find in a colored liquid liner. It is also vibrant, true purple -- not plum.
Final Thoughts: Unique but not flawless.
