Khroma Beauty Joystick in Sea Coral

Hi Pretty Pandas! I have another Khroma Beauty Joystick's here to show you, and I am loving this color for summertime!

Khroma Beauty Joystick in Sea Coral ($7.99) can be found at Ulta and is a creamy, twist up lip pencil that delivers slightly glossy lip color with a weightless feel.

The pencil is actually nice. Not too hard or soft and has a lovely vanilla cupcake scent. It applies easily on lips without tugging.

The color is glossy, but not overly so, and there is no chunky glitter in this, which helps it wear for a good 3+ hours. If you used this as a base for another lip product, I am sure you could prolong the life of another lip gloss or lipstick.

This is an easy and flawless lip for summer. The opacity is there and it feels good on the lips. I won't say it is the longest wearing lip pencil I have tried, but so far, Khroma Beauty's Joysticks have been my favorite in the Kardashian Beauty venture.

Panda Approved.

Have you tried or liked their Joysticks? What do you think of lip colors like this one?

Khroma Beauty Honey Infused Lip Gloss in BlackBerry Honey

Okay, Kardashian sisters, I am forgiving you for your recent mishaps when it comes to your Khroma line.

Your Honey Infused Lip Gloss is your saving grace.

This is the Khroma Beauty Honey Infused Lip Gloss in BlackBerry Honey which is a dark berry shade. It retails for $8.99 at Ulta and comes in a very thin tube with a rose gold colored cap. The packing is decorated with honeycomb designs and is really cute.

This color is gorgeous, no shimmer, just creamy glossy raspberry color. And the scent, holy cow! This smells amazing, like fresh honey. Nothing artificial about this at all. The formula is nice, not overly moisturizing but lasts a good few hours and lightly stains.

This is so lovely and I can see myself making this my every day gloss. My only issue is with the packaging. The tube is so long that the brush is hard to wield, and the brush head is so small that it takes about three pulls to get enough product to cover your lips. So, it is a little finicky. But the color, formula, and scent make up for this.

Nice job Kardashians.

Price: 8/10
Performance: 9/10
Color/Wearability: 10/10
Packaging: 7/10
Overall Quality: 9/10

Total: 43/50 = B+ = Happy Panda

Although the packaging needs improvement, I think I will be picking up at least one more. Have you tried this? Do you like honey flavored things?

Khroma Beauty 'Flesh Chair' Nail Polish Review and Swatches

Hello Pandas!
It seems that almost every brand has a polish line (I mean, even Clinique is doing one, are you excited??) But how will polish fare from a hit or miss new brand started by possibly the three wealthiest sisters in America?
Let's find out...

This is a Khroma Beauty nail polish. I found it at Ulta, and if I had to guess, there are about 15 different colors of this polish. I do like the bottle, it is cute and I love the white cap. These retail for about $6.99 and this color is called Flesh Chair. Flesh Chair? Really? That gives me ALL KINDS of bad images. But let us keep positive...

This is the end color. A pretty, pink-tinged nude. I actually think it looks gorgeous!

But getting to this stage? A nightmare I tell ya.

Flesh Chair goes on very streaky and this took three thick coats to even it out. I was really disappointed with the formula. It bubbled too. Sad for such a pretty color!!

The formula was so terrible. But, there were a few things I liked. Namely, the brush. The brush picked up enough color to do a coat on most of my nails on one hand before having to dip back in, but didn't drip off, it just kinda clung there. Convenient I guess.

I also liked that the dry time was fast and it dried to a glossy finish.

But the formula...

Overall, I will not be purchasing another Khroma Colors polish. However, this color is so pretty that I will use this again and suffer to make it work. I might try thinning it or maybe mixing it with something else. I could even try putting glitter in it to franken it and call it Lord Disick. I don't know...anything is better than Flesh Chair.

Price: 8/10
Performance: 5/10
Color/Wearability: 10/10
Packaging: 8/10
Overall Quality: 6/10

Total: 27/50 = C = Sad Panda

Have you tried this nail polish? What are your tips for making a tricky formula work for you?

Khroma Beauty Endless Summer Matte Bronzer

Well, the Kardashian's are at it again with their Spring/Summer 2013 makeup offerings!

The Khroma Beauty Endless Summer Matte Bronzer is just that...a bronzer...but it really isn't totally matte. It has the slightest bit of finely milled shimmer. I am okay with that, but it really is not accurate advertising. It comes in a .52 oz large plastic disc and is thankfully rather large. Suggested retail is $14, but Ulta is carrying it for cheaper at around $8...I have no idea why, or they severely messed up my transaction. I am not complaining!

This bronzer has three shades, a fair color, a slightly orange bronze and an actual bronze color. Swirled together they are supposed to give a nice bronze glow.

Things I am happy about:
This is not too dark or fake looking like the Kardashian's real tans.
It has a nice texture and feels good on my skin.

Things I am not happy about:
It is more of a glow than a bronzer. And I really wanted a bronzer.
It is a bit too warm for my skin tone.

Fans of Khroma Beauty will love it (I am hit or miss on the whole venture, but I am still curious) and fair girls looking for a light luminescence will love this. However, it does contain talc and mica as the first two ingredients and it is not wallet friendly unless you get lucky like I have.

I am not sold on this as matte or a bronzer, which were the two reasons I bought it :(

Price: 6/10
Performance: 8/10
Color/Wearability: 8/10
Packaging: 8/10
Overall Quality: 8/10

Total: 38/50 = C = Grumpy Panda

What is your favorite matte bronzer?

Khroma Beauty: Kim's Kardazzle Swatches and Review

As many of you may know, the Kardashian's have further taken over the world with the launch of their beauty line aptly name Khroma Beauty (because everything has to start with a K, as part of world domination strategies).

As a beauty junkie, and having secretly watched some episodes of the show when they formulated the line, I wanted to see if it lived up to all the effort they *seemingly* put into it.

Ulta carries the line, as well as their website, and I fell in love with these palm sized palettes for $12.99. Each girl has one, but I picked up Kim's.

The palette comes with a mirror, 8 shadows (4 matte, 4 shimmer), a blush, a highlighter, and a bronzer in a cute croc-inspired case.

This is tiny enough to put in an evening clutch but does not feel cheap. It is sturdy!

The face colors are nice but not spectacular. They are good for my skin tone because I am so pale, but on deeper complexions I do not know if this would be usable. The blush is a bright pink, the highlighter a soft champagne, and the bronzer a matte cinnamon. I will use it for contouring!

Keep reading to see the real stunners of the palette!

These are decently sized (about 1"x1") and are in shades of black, white, gray, and blue for Kim's signature smokey eye look!

From left to right: A matte gray, a light silver, a matte black, and a matte navy.

From left to right: A shimmery white, a glistening blue, a shiny gunmetal, and a black with iridescent glitter.

The shadows apply with ease and stay about 8 hours with primer. Not bad. Look coming soon!

Final Thoughts: If you like the Kardashians and want a go to palette for night-time looks, Kim and Khroma Beauty has you covered!

Price: 8/10

Staying Power: 8/10

Packaging: 10/10

Color/Wearability: 10/10

Quality/Branding: 10/10

Total: 46/50 = A- = Happy Panda!

Have you tried the Khroma Beauty line? Thoughts?
