Urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace Revolution Lipstick from the Pulp Fiction Collection

Who doesn't want lips like Mrs. Mia Wallace?

I'm not a die-hard enough fan of "Pulp Fiction" to get the entire set (palette, lip liner, and nail polish), but as a self-proclaimed red lipstick aficionado, I just had to have Mrs. Mia Wallace in Urban Decay's amazing Revolution Lipstick formula ($22).

Mrs. Mia Wallace is described as a "deep, blood red" by Urban Decay, and I would agree with all but the 'deep'. This shade is a classic red and totally spot on to the shade Uma wears, but I was hoping it would be just a bit deeper and vampier.

The tube is different from the other Revolution lipsticks and is a blackened gunmetal instead of a pewter tone.

As you can see in the above comparison, F Bomb is shinier and more silver and Mrs. Mia Wallace has very fine sparkle and is black.

I am really happy they changed the casing as it does give it more of a collector's feel outside of the 'Pulp Fiction' packaging with the title on it, which is definitely a draw for any fan.

Mrs. Mia Wallace is cool-toned and very opaque in one go. It does need a bit of warming up, so I do suggest a lip brush to make sure it doesn't skip when you are near the edges of your lips. It wears well for about 5 hours without issue and then I feel the need to touch up. This is a comfortable but heavy formula.

After swatching it, I thought it looked very similar to F Bomb, which is the red in the permanent range of Revolution Lipsticks. You may have seen it on my Instagram, but here is a side-by-side comparison.

F Bomb is on the left and Mrs. Mia Wallace on the right. They are almost identical, which is a bit sad. Mrs. Mia Wallace is just a hint darker, but I am dissapointed in Urban Decay for releasing a limited edition shade that really isn't anything more than a repackaging.

The color payoff is great and it really is a show-stopping red, but if you have F Bomb, you can pass on this. Or, if you always wanted F Bomb but love 'Pulp Fiction', this is your chance to have both!

I love and adore red lipstick, so this product is something I will wear regardless of dupes, but I wanted to let you all know that this is a fairly basic, albeit stunning, red shade that everyone should have in their collection if they don't already.

Despite the repackaged feel of this, I am in love with Mrs. Mia Wallace because of the packaging, the formula, and the perfect red color.
