Oxblood Nails with Zoya Riley

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall...to me it doesn't matter...oxblood nails are always in!

Zoya Riley retails for $8 and starts off as a pretty cherry with one thin coat and soon turns to a dark oxblood color upon the second coat. Two coats is plenty but if you want it even darker you can go for 3.

The formula is a little tricky. Thin coats work best for Zoya polishes to cut down on dry time, but the first coat on this is streaky. Second coat is a must!

This is a pretty dupeable shade, but it is a good staple to have in a budding collection of polish. It has a certain jelly feel that some of my other oxbloods do not have...so it is unique in that way. It doesn't totally look like a cream in person.

A good investment if you have one or two reds and are looking for a reliable, pretty oxblood red polish. Keep nails short to keep this from looking trashy.
